Families across the West Midlands will be pleased to know that West Midlands Mayor Andy Street has committed to not increasing the Mayoral precept if re-elected in May.
Since Andy was elected in 2017 he has not added one penny to our Council Tax bills, but he has managed to lever significant investment right across the West Midlands, including here in Aldridge-Brownhills with the commitment to a train station in Aldridge and resources to help protect our Green Belt.
With family budgets under pressure as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic this will be welcome news for my constituents.
