For those of us who love canal boats and waterways last weekend was a great time to be in Brownhills.
The 2019 Brownhills Canal Festival was organised by the Birmingham Canal Navigations Society (BCNS) and provided a great weekend of entertainment, trade boats, stalls and boat trips. It was good to see so many boats on the canal, and see the canalside and the town buzzing with activity.
The BCNS deserve our thanks for organising the festival and I certainly hope we can look forward to this becoming a regular event again.
