I had a lovely evening attending the Pelsall ladies Choir Concert to commemorate the life of June Davenhill BEM and the service that she gave to the Pelsall Ladies Choir and our wider community.
For more than 50-years June inspired people through her love of music and brought together the Ladies Choir which drew on people from across Pelsall and the wider local area.
June will be sadly missed by us all, but she will certainly live on through the on-going work of the Ladies Choir.
The evening was very special, and I would like to thank June’s daughters for inviting me. The evening was splendidly hosted by Cllr Garry Perry, and the Ladies did June proud.
I most certainly look forward to hearing them again in the very near future!
